Historic First Night Train Arrival in Venice

I coordinated the celebration of European Sleeper's inaugural service to Venice, marking a significant milestone in the revival of night trains to Italy. The event brought together:

  • 60+ attendees including students, academics, and rail advocates
  • Partnership with IUAV University of Venice
  • Institutional support from local government
  • Media coverage amplifying the message of sustainable travel

This event demonstrated the viability of the Brussels-Venice night train route and sparked conversations about expanding night train services throughout Italy.
